Excursion a la Laguna del Maule
El Sábado 11 de Abril, tres hermosas representantes de USA, Nueva Zelanda e Inglaterra, partieron desde Chez L´Habitant en bicicleta rumbo a la Laguna del Maule por la ribera sur del Lago Colbun. Regresaron felices y animadas por la experiencia, prometiendo regresar. Una exclente aventura para compartir!

Betty, distinguida y bella integrante de la familia Chez L´Habitant tiene ahora una nueva poza de agua para bañarse y disfrutar las hermosas vistas del Lago Colbun y la Cordillera de Los Andes. Los visitantes que hacen turismo en la localidad de Colbun observan la tranquilidad con que este ejemplar proveniente del Asia nada y se baña en su pileta.

Walun, ( Verano en Mapudungun) nacio el 27 de Enero en la madrugada en el Establo de Chez L´Habitant. Su madre, Sayen (corazón bondadoso) lo cuida y mima todo el día. Es curioso, manso y regalón.

The tourism in the Maule region, Chile, has new recognitions!!!!
Chez L´Habitant, Lake & Mountain Lodge- located on the south shore of the Cobun Lake, was visited in January 2007 by a group of journalist from the German National Geographic. This group was in searched of the best vacation places in Chile for German families. They traveled throughout the south of Chile, visited its lakes, rivers and beaches. Also, they went to well known touristic cities such as Villarica, Pucon, Puerto Varas, Chiloe, Torres del Paine and so many more. The places they visited were chosen because of their boarding infrastructure, ecotourism activities, quality of services, excellence in gastronomy, and natural surroundings. All of these characteristics were relevant at the moment to choose a winner, besides they all met German families high standards when is time for vacationing.
Of all the others places visited by the German journalists Ecoturismo Lago Colbun was their favorite and it was mentioned in the edition of February 2008- “Chile and the best places for vacationing”. The owners of Ecotourismo Lago Colbun are committed to fulfill the expectations and recommendations of such report and are very proud of receiving such acknowledgement. Also we feel proud of the many accomplishments since in only three seasons we have marked a leadership in ecotourism and quality of services in the “Provincia” of Linares.
